Discovery #1 – that no Realtor, or real estate professional, has current local socioeconomic data or easy access to these datasets
Discovery #2 – It takes new online data mapping technology to makes sense of the Block Group and Census Tract data, and even larger markets, like Zip Codes. (Since the data within this boundaries is constantly changing. Just look around, has anyone moved or gotten a new job in your area? And this data is not recorded, but is available somewhere, not you think?)
Discovery #3 Driving around, is not only a waste of time and energy, and the core variables that change within local markets are NOT observable by the naked eye. And it always been amazing to me, how someone charge a fee, and not have access to current local growth patterns and changes, to advise their clients as to where to invest, and when to sell…. But if you guys are listening, we are going to change that. You guys listening and getting this?
